Accessing multiple coin-types using Cosmostation mobile (Android/iOS)

Hello,

My name is Jay Lee and I work as a Protocol Specialist at the Cosmostation team. I am writing in this thread to provide instructions on how to access multiple coin-types using the Cosmostation mobile (Users are able to access both using Android and iOS)

Short Summary of the Steps

  • Import the mnemonic phrase to the Cosmostation mobile
  • Enable Legacy address (Old address) to get access for multiple coin-types

Detailed steps on the instruction is as follows:

  1. Download the Cosmostation mobile

  2. Restore the wallet using the mnemonic phrase

  • Click on the ‘Create account’ and then click the ‘Import mnemonics’ button
  • Enter the PINCODE so that users are able to use the PINCODE to execute the transaction (PINCODE is used to execute the transaction & unlocking the wallet)
  • Enter the mnemonic phrase and click on ‘Next’
  • (Optional) If the user have set in a different HD Path, then they need to set the correct HD Path that they created
  • Enter the account name to finish the steps on wallet restoration process

In order to get visual assistance on restoring the wallet using a mnemonic phrase, please go to the link below

  1. Activate Legacy address (Old address) & Add chains
  • Go to the [Setting] and enable the Legacy address (Old address)
  • (After enabling the Legacy(Old) address) Click on the Chains and then click on the telescope icon on top right side
  • Search Agoric and activate the wallet

After following all of those steps above, then the users are able to access both of the coin types (564 & 118).
