Ric (and Bob and Hannah and…) has done an great job at moving IST forward, getting new collaterals, etc., and simultaneously continually driving the costs and risks down while keep system integrity high. While it didn’t get the needed traction, it was a good bet and a good run. Thank you so much for your valiant efforts.

In terms of 50 million sold:
it is simple math: You have to sell BLD in order to spend 1 million dollars per year on Inter Protocol.
During last 9 months average BLD price was 5 cents. 1 m dollars divided on 5 cents equals 20 million BLD.
The same math we can make for previous periods 2022-2023.
Therefore if i see on Your wallet account as for today only 51 million BLD from 100 million, that You had in 2022 it makes sense, that you sold them.
Could it tanks the price? Definitely YES.
Zero network usage, absence of daaps, low demand and at the same time 50 million sold.
But it’s not DCF fail. It’s Agoric UpCo fail. It’s their responsibility in terms of building dapps and make network usage.
DCF did what it had to do: support Inter Protocol and i am very regret of sunsetting it.
And i wish Agoric UpCo all the best and i will support their efforts with orchestration despite tough previous years.
The Agoric community has voted. The strategic sunsetting of Inter Protocol has begun.

New vault creation and IST minting will be disabled effective immediately.
Vaults users are encouraged to reclaim collateral and close their vaults.
The PSM will function as normal until the end of the wind-down period.
