Hello from the the Economic Committee! We wanted to inform the BLD community that following the strong appetite for LSD seen on this very topic, the EC has officially commissioned Gauntlet with the assessment of stATOM (st as Stride) as a new collateral to mint IST, in addition to providing recommendation for [new risk parameters for ATOM](https://community.agoric.com/t/parameter-updates-atom-onboarding-and-mint-limits/355/2).

The EC has been closely following the development in Cosmos of the liquid staking market and the fast rise of stATOM as a prime collateral in DeFi.

Important to note here that the EC is not bound by any recommendations offered by Gauntlet.
