This subcategory is for discussion about signalling proposals.

A text, or signalling proposal, is used to make an on-chain record of support or agreement on a certain topic or idea. Signalling proposal do not contain code and do not directly cause changes to the chain if passed.

Examples of signalling proposals:

- Agree to adopt a feature in the future
- An on-chain record of community opinion
- Ratification of social norms
